Earn Your Gifted Endorsement with FDLRS NEFEC!
The Gifted Endorsement Program is designed to deepen educators’ knowledge and understanding of how to effectively support students who are gifted. This endorsement helps raise awareness of the unique characteristics, emotional and social needs, and challenges often experienced by gifted learners.
Program Details:
The add-on endorsement consists of five courses (totaling 300 hours), which may be completed in any order:
· Nature and Needs of Gifted Students
· Curriculum and Instructional Strategies for Teaching Gifted Students
· Guidance and Counseling for the Gifted
· Education of Special Populations of Gifted Students
· Theory and Development of Creativity
All courses are offered free of charge for educators employed in FDLRS/NEFEC member districts:
Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Flagler, FSDB, Hamilton, Lafayette, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, and Union
